1.1 Receipt Data

• Extracted Data: We process receipt images on our servers to extract information such as store name, items, prices, and dates.
• Your Receipts Are Private: We never use your receipt data for AI training purposes or share it with third parties for marketing or analytics.

1.2 Anonymous Usage Data

• Anonymous authentication: We use anonymous authentication. No email, name, or personal identifiers are collected.
• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage statistics via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve functionality.
• Crash Reports: We collect crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix technical issues.

1.3 Purchase Information

• Subscriptions: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase history to enable premium features.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or process credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Service Provision: To provide receipt scanning, storage, and expense tracking functionality.
• OCR Processing: Receipt images are processed on our servers using AI to extract text and data.
• App Improvement: Anonymous analytics help us understand usage patterns and improve the app.
• Technical Support: Crash reports help us identify and resolve bugs.
• Subscription Management: Purchase data enables premium features for paying users.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: A copy of your receipt data is stored locally on your device.
• Data Retention: We retain your data while you actively use the app. You can delete your data at any time from within the app.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We work with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Analytics and crash reporting.
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management.
• Apple/Google: Payment processing via App Store and Play Store.

Important: We never sell your personal data. We never use your receipt images for AI training or share them with advertising partners.

5. Children's Privacy

Kwitly does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us immediately.

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Firebase's compliance with GDPR and international data protection standards.
